Partridge India introduces Amay Saxena, author of The Death Story.

 

Please briefly describe your book.

The Death Story by Amay SaxenaThe Death Story, the name itself tells the genre of the story but it doesn’t explain the motive of the story. The story is about a young writer who is travelling in train and while travelling he comes across a woman. The woman offers to tell the young writer a story and he agrees to hear it. As the story proceeds, the writer (or the readers) gets to know it isn’t an ordinary tale. The story offers suspense, fear and unexpected turns. The Death Story has a simple start but later turns into a confusing one. The Death Story – will prove how love, god and hope help you in life.

 

Who is the author behind the book?

I am Amay Saxena born and bought up in Mumbai. I aspire to be a good storyteller. I look for stories around me and try to mix up fiction with it. I am someone who wants to write stories which will inspire, thrill and excite people. The Death Story is my first book.

 

Which influences have inspired you, with regard to your writing style and your book itself?

My entire family and my friend Shruti Nair were my inspiration. I don’t follow a particular writing style as such. But I like novels written by Sir Sidney Sheldon and Dan Brown.

 

What is the one message you would like to convey to your readers about your book?

Never give up and keep hope alive. Something better is always waiting for you ahead. And also we need to believe in love because that’s the only thing which keeps us united.

 

Are you working on a sequel to your book?

No. But I may start with a new book, soon.

 

Are there any events, marketing ideas or promotions planned for your book?

I am currently promoting my book through social media. That’s what helps you in 21st century.

 

What was your favorite part of your publishing experience?

Working with Partridge India was awesome. They helped me with everything and also understood my concerns and solved them within no time.

 

What do you think of your Partridge experience?
